Mag. Dr. Matthäus Uitz, LL.B., M.Sc., LL.M. (Yale)

Matthäus Uitz studied Law and Business Administration at the University of Vienna (Mag. Iur., 2018; M.Sc., 2022; Dr. iur., 2024) and Business Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (LL.B., 2019).

He received his doctorate from the University of Vienna in January 2024 with his dissertation on "The Protection of Vulnerable Adults in the Scope of Commercial Law and Corporate Law", for which he was awarded several academic prizes.

During his studies, he received numerous merit scholarships for his achievements.

He spent the 2023/24 academic year at Yale Law School, where he obtained his Magister Juris (LL.M.) degree.

Since November 2024, he has been working as a post-doctoral researcher at the chair of Professor Thomale.
