C³FL-Fellowship-Programme

The increasingly complex issues in the field of corporate finance require the continuous (further) development of new, innovative solutions. Such impetus can best be generated by systematically combining scientific analysis, practical experience, and international perspectives. For this reason, the Center for Comparative Corporate Finance (C³FL), which has been addressing these challenges since its founding in 2023, launched a fellowship program in the winter semester of 2025/26 to further develop its role as an innovative and internationally networked think tank for research, exchange, and innovation in the field of corporate finance law.
The C³FL's research fellows are outstanding individuals with proven academic profiles who are distinguished by their many years of expertise, often international, in the field of corporate finance. In their role as research fellows, they actively contribute this experience and perspective to the scientific work of C³FL. In doing so, they make a significant contribution to strengthening the already ongoing exchange between different approaches from academia and practice, which deal with a variety of national legal systems and institutional frameworks.

In this context, the Fellowship Program sees itself as a catalyst for further academic discourse in the field of corporate finance law, while also aiming to exploit synergies through increased cooperation between academia and practice. The close involvement of the research fellows in the activities of the C³FL is intended to create a network of experts that will further strengthen scientific quality and international visibility in the field of corporate finance law and create space for in-depth and sustainable cooperation across institutional, methodological, and national boundaries.

In the long term, the fellowship program will thus contribute to the realization of one of the C³FL's key objectives: the forward-looking co-design of necessary solutions in the field of national and international corporate finance law.
